Mountain High Snowsport Club
Description
Mountain High's roots go back to the 1970s with the formation of the "Plaza" (1975) and "Edgeset" (early 1970s) ski clubs in Portland, Oregon. In the Fall of 2000, the two clubs merged, forming the best of both worlds. The club was renamed to Mountain High in November 2003. The membership numbers over 300 active snowsport enthusiasts.
Known as a club that REALLY skis & rides, the Club features day outings to Mt. Hood, as well as ski trips throughout the Northwest, Canada and the western United States. There are also year-round social activities! It's a warm & friendly club.
Club Information
The club has general meetings/parties about once per quarter, including a yearly Membership Party in November at the start of the new ski season. The main activities are: day-trips to Mt. Hood, longer winter trips to mountains throughout the Western U.S. and Canada, the PACRAT racing program, and numerous social events during the year (e.g., Christmas Boat Parade, winery tours, Chocolate Dessert competition/tasting, pizza parties, etc.). Families are included in the activities whenever possible.
