	Trip report for Beautiful Lake Tahoe 2000

	Approximately 22 people have signed up for this trip, and there is room for more. For approximately $560 per person in Washington or $539 in Oregon, club members will fly from Seattle or Portland to/from Reno, Nevada. Four nights lodging will be at the Forest Inn Suites. Two-bedroom/two bath condo units have been reserved. Three-day lift tickets for Heavenly, Kirkwood, and Squaw Valley are included, as well as a dinner and dance on a paddle wheeler. Participants will depart Washington and Oregon on Wednesday evening and return Sunday evening.
'Where lodging options range from cozy condominiums to huge high rises offering casino gambling, Vegas-type shows, and fine dining at bargain prices?'	Where would you go for a long weekend or week-long ski/snowboard trip that is inexpensive, easily accessible from the Pacific Northwest by air, offers 15 alpine and 10 cross-country ski resorts with over 27,000 skiable acres to choose from, and where 5 feet of snow may fall within a day or two? At Lake Tahoe you can take your pick of inexpensive family areas or large, world class resorts offering every type of terrain, from smooth long cruising runs to extreme double black diamond backcountry bowls. Everyone knows the legendary areas: Alpine Meadows, Heavenly, Kirkwood, Northstar-at-Tahoe, Sierra-at-Tahoe, and Squaw Valley USA; but there are also 9 smaller alpine areas to explore!
