Clubs nominate members to participate at the Council level for Man & Woman of the Year. Each spring the Council selects a winner. The winners may participate in the FWSA Councils’ Man & Woman of the Year program at the Far West Convention. Selection criteria are based on each individual’s involvement in skiing; club, council, regional and national activities; knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport of skiing. Each club may use its own criteria to select their candidates. A panel of judges will review all Man and Woman of the year nominees and will choose the Council winners. Download the 2007-08 Application Please note that if the NWSCC winners attend the FWSA Convention in June (to be held in Bellevue, Washington in 2008), each of them will win a prize whether or not they win the FWSA competition. Last year each participant received a 2-day trip for 2 people to Big White in Canada (transportation not included), and the FWSA winners received a number of prizes, including a 5-day trip for 2 to Big White and Silver Star Resorts.
