CLUB FACTS

Bergfreunde was founded in 1966 and is now one of the largest ski clubs in the country, with around 1,500 members. It offers year round skiing, sports, and social activities. Members must be age 21 or over.

EVENTS

The club has numerous ski trips, both downhill and cross country, as well as several downhill racing teams.  The club currently has 400 trips and events planned during the year.

MEETINGS/DUES

Meetings are held for trip signups the first (non-holiday) Monday of each month at 6:30 PM at the Gateway Elks Lodge, 711 NE 100th St., Portland, OR.  Annual dues for new members are $80 for singles and $155 for married couples, and the club benefits are numerous.
