CLUB FACTS
While the Seattle Singles Yacht Club is not a ski club, quite
a few of its members enjoy skiing in the winter, and chances are
a number of skiers might want to join SSYC for their many
activities!
With 140 annual members and hundreds of casual members, SSYC
is a boating club for singles (over 21), though members do not
need to own a boat or even know how to sail, as long as they
love the water and the outdoors. Annual membership is
$125. Casual memberships are $7 at the door each week
EVENTS
Boating is free!! Imagine, pot lucks on the water, cruising
the San Juan Islands and North, all for free!!
Each Monday the Skippers (sail and power) announce their boat
trips; they are looking for crew to bring the food and fun. No
boating experience necessary. In addition to sailing, cruising
and other water sports, activities include volleyball, wallyball,
bicycling, hiking, ethnic dinners, tennis, Art Walks, theater
nights, etc. Check out the website or just show up at a Monday
meeting to learn more about the multitude of activities this
very active club offers!
MEETINGS
The club meets every Monday at 7:00 pm, at the Ballard Elks,
which is upstairs at the Shilshole Bay Beach Club, at 6411
Seaview Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107, near West Marine. The
meetings on the second Monday of each month include a dance from
