SKI OREGON
CHALLENGE
"RACE TO THE FINISH"
David Schor
outpaced
Emilio Trampuz
and
McCoy Smith
to finish first in the “Race to the Finish” to ski
Oregon’s ski resorts in the 2005-06 ski season. As of February
19th David has snowboarded the eleven Oregon ski resorts listed on the Ski Oregon
Challenge - Anthony Lakes, Cooper Spur, Hoodoo, Mt. Ashland, Mt. Hood
Meadows, Mt. Bachelor, Mt. Hood Skibowl, Spout Springs, Timberline,
Warner Canyon, and Willamette Pass. Below are some photos from

David at Mt. Hood Skibowl
During the challenge David was living in
Corvallis, although he now resides in Portland (as of February
21). He is 26 years of age, and began the challenge as a
beginner snowboarder, having boarded only twice before this
season (both times at Mt. Bachelor as part of High School
orchestra ski trips).
David earned his college degrees in Eugene at
the U of O (music and philosophy), and currently works in
Portland for United Food Ingredients as a Customer Support
Specialist. His schedule for the challenge is listed

January 14 - Mt. Hood Meadows
January 28 - Mt. Hood Skibowl
February 11 - Mount Ashland
