49° North Mountain Resort - What's New in 2007-08

Thank you, Northwest skiers and snowboarders. Your assistance is greatly appreciated, and the good news continues to roll out due to your efforts!

With last year's installation of the Sunrise Quad and development of Sunrise Basin's 12 ski trails complete, our staff spent this summer designing six new trails and several gladed descents in the terrain west of Chair 4.  Run construction on Angel Peak is scheduled for the summer of 2008

There are plans in the coming years for the development of Sunrise Basin Village.  A new base area lodge, hotel, and condominiums are planned for the private land that surrounds the lower terminal of the Sunrise Quad.  The first phase of development will be comprised of approximately 450 units, situated on 40 acres.  As the village takes form, visitors will be treated with additional lifts, hotels, condominiums, townhouses, cottages, and single family lots.  Units could be up for sale as early as 2008.

And, as always, summer slope maintenance goes forth to continually improve our trail system.
