Features/Comments

Big White Ski Resort is British Columbia’s second largest ski area, with over 2,565 acres of skiable terrain featuring 112 runs and 25 kms of nordic trails. SKI Magazine rated Big White Ski Resort #1 for Snow, #2 for Service, and #3 for Lodging in the Pacific Northwest.

New for the 2003-04 season is more grooming, an expansion to the Happy Valley Adventure Area including a new ice skating rink that will quadruple in size with skating canal, and an investment of over $140 million in various new slopeside accommodations. Dual mountain packages to nearby Silver Star Mountain Resort and an option of helicopter shuttles are available between resorts.

On the same lift ticket, skiers and snowboarders have access to nearly 6,000 acres of skiable terrain on over 200 runs. With spectacular snow conditions, uncrowded slopes, ski-in/ski-out accommodation and a complete variety of après activities, Big White provides excellent value and has become a favorite destination for North American skiers and boarders.
