Big White Ski Resort is British Columbia’s second largest ski area,
with over 2,565 acres of skiable terrain featuring 112 runs and 25 kms
of nordic trails. SKI Magazine rated Big White Ski Resort #1 for Snow,
#2 for Service, and #3 for Lodging in the Pacific Northwest.
New for the 2003-04 season is more grooming, an expansion to
the Happy Valley Adventure Area including a new ice skating rink that
will quadruple in size with skating canal, and an investment of over
$140 million in various new slopeside accommodations. Dual mountain
packages to nearby Silver Star Mountain Resort and an option of
helicopter shuttles are available between resorts.
On the same lift ticket, skiers and snowboarders have access to
nearly 6,000 acres of skiable terrain on over 200 runs. With
spectacular snow conditions, uncrowded slopes, ski-in/ski-out
accommodation and a complete variety of après activities, Big White
provides excellent value and has become a favorite destination for
North American skiers and boarders.
